Newborn Sessions
Every portrait is taken with care and attention to details, to create a gorgeous pieces of art for you to treasure. As every family is unique I have designed a variety of sessions to try and suit everyone, with sessions starting at $400. For the full prices list and options fill go to the contact us page.
When you arrive at my studio all you need to do is sit down, relax, and watch the process unfold. You are welcome to look through my range of props, including bonnets, headbands, wraps and rompers, and we will discuss how we will style the session.
The best time to take photographs of your newborn is when they are 5 to 14 days of age, as this is when they are still curly and sleepy. To make sure you don't miss out, it is best to book while you are pregnant. However, I sometimes have space for last minute bookings. On booking your session a $200 deposit is required to secure your booking and this goes towards your chosen bundle. The booking date is based on your due date, but as we all know baby’s never arrive to plan, so when your new bundle of joy arrives contact me and we can confirm a day and time. If for some reason you can’t make the session in the first couple of weeks after baby is born, I would still love to photograph your baby, please be mindful that some of the curly sleepy newborn poses will not be suitable for an older baby.
All images are fully edited and are selected from the best images as chosen by the photographer.
Little Gem
Who: Baby only
Allow: 1.5 hours
These are short and sweet sessions and take approximately 1.5 hrs.
These sessions are perfect for those wanting just a few images to capture those tiny details of your newborn to treasure.
These mini sessions include 1 creative floor/prop pose and a couple of simple poses on the bean bag. The baby is wrapped or partially wrap for this session
You will receive 6 to 8 digital portraits, all professionally edited.
Little Gem Creative
Who: Baby only
Allow: 3 to 4 hours
The full creative experience tailored to suit you and your newborn.
This sessions includes a variety of poses including creative floor/prop pose and poses on the bean bag. You will be able to chose form my range of props and wraps, together styling this to create unique portraits of your baby.
You will receive 10 - 20 images.
Baby and Sibling/s
Who: Baby + Sibling/s
Allow: 3 to 4 hours
Marking important family milestones
Similar to the Little Gem Creative bundle, this sessions includes individual pictures of all the siblings and with siblings with baby.
You will receive approximately 15 to 20 images.
Baby and Parents
Who: Baby + Sibling/s
Allow: 3 to 4 hours
Marking important family milestones
Similar to the Little Gem Creative bundle, this sessions includes images with parent, as a group and individually.
You will receive approximately 15 to 20 images.
Baby and Family
Who: Baby + Sibling/s + Parents
Allow: 4 to 5 hours
Marking important family milestones
Similar to the Little Gem Creative bundle, this sessions includes images with parents and siblings, as a group and individually. We are also happy to include generational images with Grandparents.
As this session is longer it is recommended that siblings are not present for the whole sessions, especially younger siblings.
You will receive approximately 15 to 25 images.
